Viva Las Vegas Joseph and Ava!

So after taking Ava to Las Vegas multiple times since birth and never taking Joseph even once made me realize: It is TIME to take that boy to Las Vegas! Some people might not understand why you would want to take kids to Las Vegas and there are some like me who say, "WHY NOT!" I believe you can't shelter your kids forever and as long as you plan a kid friendly trip, it is no different than visiting any other city.

So the weekend we go to Vegas, there was a heat wave is in effect! It is ONLY 117 degrees mid afternoon with a slight desert warm breeze the whole weekend. Thank goodness for endless casino/hotel air conditioning.

I scored a great offer from the Wynn Casino and Hotel this time around. We got free buffet vouchers each day and two tickets to Cirque Du Soleil Le Reve show (which I gifted to my mom). Joseph LOVED LOVED LOVED the pool so much, he didn't want to leave!

One end of the pool and it's not crowded!!

Joseph and Ava got to check out Caesar Palace, Bellagio (which Ava fell asleep), Mirage volcano (which Ava fell asleep), and the Venetian Shops. Even though it was insanely hot but overall it was a great time and Joseph even asked when we will go back again!

Happy Birthday America!

Today is the last day of the San Diego County Fair, aka "Del Mar Fair". I thought it would be great for both kids to go together. Uncertain of how easy or difficult it would be to manage both kids at the fair myself on a holiday, it was actually SUPER easy! Definitely give credit to Joseph who fed his sister breakfast in the car and pushed her in the stroller the whole time at the fair. That right there is a Super Brother!

The kiddos had a blast seeing farm animals, going to Kiddieland for the rides and enjoyed this year's theme of "Game On!" Overall it was a great success and it makes me feel great that handling two kids alone is not at all a scary thing.

Came home to let the kids get cleaned up and play around in the house. Weather was great!
